How do I give my pet a chance of winning?

You'll need to provide a photo and also to answer a few questions designed to give a good overview of their character. These include questions about them being the centre of attention, how they communicate their mood, how they lighten or affect your mood, how they persuade you to meet their needs (food, affection, etc).

You are welcome to keep answers short, or to get carried away to greater lengths; the key thing is to make sure you give us an idea of why they are special to you.

One pet per entry please, but you are very welcome to enter multiple pets in multiple entries.

We're also interested in knowing what sort of wise words your pet would come up with if asked to define his/her approach to life (we recognise that some pet's thoughts may not actually be that wise). See our demo site for examples.

Entrance into the competition allows Webfluff to put your pets into a planned book of charismatic animals which will benefit the WWF.

Different pets will excel in different parts of the charisma questions: that's part of the fun.

As long as your pet shows at least one of the charismatic traits (defined to the right) then they are very eligible to enter the competition. The shortlist of 25 pets will be representative of the different types of pets entered into the competition.

There are many ways to resize photos; if you're not familiar with them you can email us from the Contact page, or enlist the advice of a friend. Please note we highly recommend making a copy of any photo before resizing it.
