Teddy's life
Teddy's honorary birthday is 22nd February 1992 (no one knows his actual birthday, but he is at time of writing 14 years old).
His first eight years of life were spent with a man who kicked him, beat him and hung him from a rope.
He was lucky to be resuced by an animal sanctuary but because of his defensive behaviours, he wasn't homed for 18 months.
Then his current owner took him on, sight unseen and one year later, thanks to her affection he won the dogs today, 'luckiest dog in the world' competition
He continues to thrive and lives like a puppy, his health based on a BARF diet and five mile walks every day
